Please note, Deep Blue is no longer at the Science Museum. Time Out Food editors, FEBRUARY 2020.
Both the caffs here are fresh, modern affairs, with Energy – sandwiches, soup, hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit and baked goods on the counters – getting most casual custom. Further back from the entrance, Deep Blue is a rather fiercely up-lit café-restaurant, techno blue neon beneath, open to the grand hall of the Wellcome Wing above. It serves a few salads, fairly simple mains, and a few desserts. Children’s menus cost £5.95, a bottle of wine £18-21.
Other catering options at the museum include the Shake Bar (milk shakes, ice cream, snacks and drinks); the Dana Café (burgers, fish and chips, salad etc.); and the newest addition, the Media Space Café (sandwiches, salads, baked goods, drinks).
